Currently the only one not working is the Egg II, which blew its board for no apparent reason

Afraid that there is no right or wrong answer!!!! I've got a halo on my impulse for speed, but for blance and lightness I use a reloader. Putting a halo on an ultralight cocker makes it soo top heavy its unreal!!

wel ive got my EggII on my Ultralight (wit E-Blade) and i have had no real weight distribution problems and i have forund that is is really nice to hold. but wen a Halo goes on it the weight distribution goes all to pot.

Halos are faster. I assume you mean "faster", and not "fater."Halos don't read black shell well, so I also have a couple of Eggs, in case I am stuck with black shell.

You're right to wonder who to listen to. Everyone tries to rationalize and justify how they spent their money. The thing is, no one can tell what you'll like better. Some folks are Egg people, some are Halo people, some still love the Revy. Friend of mine just traded a Halo for a pair of Revies, and he couldn't be happier.
