z board for the egg??? where ya get em from and is it worth it ? standard board on the egg is slipping and dnt keep up with consistent high speed firing
Its not my Halo its my Capts and it is his fault for buying a Halo (i hope my capt dont read this - Joke) but yeah i have an EggII and nothing has gone wrong yet (touch wood) but i would buy an EggII over a Halo just because of the reliability, and i dont care bout the weight distribution is better an the Halos i like my Egg and that is it. BUY EGGII THEY ROCK, JUST LIKE MY FINGERS.
Anyone with an Evolution II has any trouble with battery doors staying closed, 'cause the tabs have broken or bent? How many times can you take an Egg apart before the plastic screw wells start to break. Anyone dropped one on a concrete surface? How about 5the tray/ neck breaking? The lid splitting? Switch getting shot?
I agree that the electronics in the Evolution are more robust than the older Halos, and they can read any color shell. They work in a simpler way, and are poor fool proof. To say they are more reliable ignores the ways they do break, which is to say catastrophically. The board may not have issues, but the plastic bits do.
Halos aren't perfect either, and both have their relative merits, but they can both break when you play hard, and Halos feed faster. That is what decides me.

Agreeded as well, i would not buy a Halo but my team has few few spare so if my EggII busts ive got a decent bk up!!
