Guys,
It is with regret that I am announcing that Lincoln Storm have folded. Despite a heavy recruitment and training program, we have lost a number of key players throughout the early part of the season and we hoped that by merging with Stoke Quest we would be able to continue. Unfortunately this has not been possible and with the announcement of two more players leaving the squad this week, we are left with no choice but to fold.
I'd like to thank all the loyal players within the squad for their hard work and commitment and assure them that this decision has not been taken lightly.
I'd also like to thank the teams sponsors - and particularly Ledz from PLanet Eclipse and Jim Frensham for the paint deal he sorted for this season. I am a big believer that you need to train and play every weekend to progress in Tournament paintball - represent your team name and your sponsors with competative performances and progression. I have felt for the past few weeks that this was not happening with our team and was unlikely to.
Finally my thanks to all the teams in Division 2 for the last two legs - thoroughly enjoyed playing all of you.
I shall be taking a few months away from paintball and decided what to do from here.
Peace.
