I should imagine that part of the reason that PP/NPPL are going to 18 is that at the moment 7 of us could make a team and enter Pro. We would suck (well, I am assuming you guys would hold me back) but we could do it. This in itself is flawed. The 18 decision was made before the NXL teams went over.

Expect some format changes to be seen which will presumably explain why the number is 18, and why more teams cannot be accomodated.

How long do you think the NPPL should wait for teams to get on board? Eg. If they increased the number to let in the NXL teams into Pro (by the way, on the showing at Denver there is no saying all of them deserve it), and the Russian Legion want in the following year, do you think that the number should be increased again to accomodate them? The Legion (though I love them) have either made a mistake, or not. If they have, its a shame. But what can the NPPL or Pure promotions do about that? Change the format to fit them in anyway?
Are we saying that Sergei would flop out some cash and they would change thier minds. What would we think of them then? What would the 10 or so Pro teams that fought all year and didn't make it think of them then?

Considering the number of pro teams for next year is 18, I wouldn't be surprised to see NPPL switch to a "pros vs. pros only" format. 18 teams gives you two divisions of 9, so each team gets 8 games against other pros. Much easier seeding and bracketing, and the pro vs. pro is probably going to be what TV wants (or what NPPL thinks TV wants).

I don't expect to see NPPL expand the pro division, unless it's up to 27 (adds another division of 9) and there's just not that many pro-caliber teams right now.

The Nexus Feeder team (the team that was in Madrid) didn't need to mate, they got fifth in Toulouse :)

A temporary effect maybes but nonetheless apparent.......I just gotta work out how to get them back on track..........and that goes for both teams :)

Cya in the middle Nick !
