As far as the Law in concerned ANY mode is legal, only capped ramping is allowed in some tournament play, others only allow capped semi mode.
The cap agreed in the UK is 15.4 balls per second with the minimum time allowed between shots being 65ms.
So fifty balls per second full auto is legal in the UK, just not allowed in tournament use.

So leading on from the other question, it would be legal to run an NXL style league or tournament with 15bps fully-auto? Would insurance still be the problem, even though paintballs are still being fired at the same rate?
