some of the old timers might correct on the details here but I seem to remember a "thing" made by Brass Eagle called the Cobra (might have been the Barracuda).

In the days before blow back technology and when the Cocker was still a pump gun (yes it was children...) it had a double action trigger and was billed as one of the first true semi-auto's, which indeed it was by virtue of the fact it didn't have a pump. I think it was supposed to look like an M16 but it was sure ugly as hell. Apart from the fact it was about 4 feet long and weighed 3 tons your hand cramped up after firing about five shots because of the trigger cocking system.

Most definately a very un-sexy gun.

Of course there was the "Golden Eagle" too which looked like something out of Star Trek with a box like body about 2 feet long and a 3 inch barrel :) Hideous

being an old timer i have to admit that i owned a barracuda,yes it was heavy and with its 20" barrel you couldnt think about playing tight.
I think that the stingray need to be on the ugly list,also the edge was a minger.

and any camo taped marker used by a punter hunter.:cool:

The edge?

You gotta be kiddin' me...I drooled over the Edge when the pictures appeared in the mags... I mean it had a HORIZINTAL feed that took a whole 20 paintballs...no tube of 10 or a stick feed waving about to give away your position...and even more importantly for the really trigger happy...it took two (yes TWO) twelve gram CO2 cartridges...it was years ahead of it's time...simply awsome :)

You know it took me twelve years to finally track one of those down. Ran across it at EMR's Monty Python game going by the name of the BE-90 if I remember correctly. I got so excited I had the wife take a picture of me posing with it...oh sad, SAD (Heh Heh).

Oh and still on the subject of least sexy, little tone, you remember the Deuce? Double barrel pump with twin (40 shot) hoppers...now that was kinda ugly but fun...

Actually I have an Old KP2 that's currently being refubished at Bastion Painball in Canada. bEing returned to it's original state after some yahoo painted it in DPM colours..now that was a truly beautiful gun...wooden stock, brass barrel...only problem was it looked so much like a shotgun you'd probably get blown away by an ARU if you were seen carrying it. Pretty handy for making withdrawals from the local post office, but a behemoth as far as paintball guns go...
