It would be radically different than in times past, and although it would not necessarily guarantee quality reffing at each event, it would definitely put the players/teams in a better position to control the destiny of the reffing the events have. I've heard the broad outline of the ideas currently being batted about and I gotta say--
PSP is serious and are attempting to address a number of issues related to past reffing problems. It may not solve all the problems and there are some sticky details to be worked out but it's an actual, factual effort. Can't say more as nothing has been settled.

Just in case anyone was concerned: No, I haven't recently suffered a severe blow to the head or been bought off by some shadowy Paintball baron--I wish.

But the reality is consistent, quality reff'ing is a tough problem and with the PSP looking hard at making some changes both the national circuits in America have begun to take the matter seriously. Cool.

Dont be so mean... ..PSP has made the attemps to improve alot of things for the players over the past few months regardless of whether it came because of NPPL or not..Lets just be happy that its going in the direction it is..A few of us here have been pretty hard on PSP(Baca has been paid off by somebody,he aint fooling anyone ),but its hard to complain when its obvious,while not perfect,its getting a whole lot better...

If they just fixed the reffing now,and it looks like are attempting to from BWillie's and Bacas responses,then all the naysayers would just be people bitching to bring them down..


And Baca and BWill...Isnt it kinda cruel to dangle the reffing thing like a piece of chicken just outta reach of a hungry animal without letting on just a little what this new reffing proposal will be...Cmon..Let it out..We know its nothing official..
