Have you ever attended a millenium event? I guess not my friend, there is no such thing as improved reffing! You get what you pay for! I have all respect for the marshalling teams but they are not PAID enough to give us what we wold need. They have 100Eur/Ref/day as a payment plus the heat plus the screaming, bitching and last but not least the welts! Simple as that!

Until that you have to somehow control the situation in a manner where it doesnt pay off to pull tricks like that! Yes its a "crappy rule" but its a crappy situatin too!

Simple as that!

It is more than just what he did on the field my fine know it all friend!

It si also do with his conduct off the field. What he said at the awards giving and back at the safe zone!

So take all of into account and lts see what we have. A so called Pro acting like a dick and upsetting everyone. A real Pillar of the sport!

100e sounds like some decent pay for what they are doing.

And besides, I thought they did it because they loved the sport and wanted it to grow.

No one expects them to get everything, but something as blatant as what Lasoya( I don't want to single him out but he is the example here) and others do need to be busted. For the good of the sport.

Totally agree - throw the book at him. My overreaction comment is only in reference to Acsik's assertion that there should be a rule which awards the flag hang to the opposing team if an eliminated player "actively influences the game in a way that it changes the end result of the game" - which is just an all-out bad rule.

Acsik: Not saying paying them more wouldn't be required - just that reffing changes are preferable to bad rules changes.

If it was a "game changing move" by an eliminated player, then its a 2 for 1. If that removes the last player on the field, then it is an automatic flag hang. The problem isn't the rules. The rules are fine. It's the refs.

Don't look to make stricter rules if the current rules aren't being enforced. Just get refs that actually enforce what is there.

I would LOVE to see it happening!

Ironically the reffing team on that field (True Colors) did an outstanding job all weekend along! I dont know if they were reffing the finals too or not but that move should had been caught!

But it wasn't and on every tourny you see something along theese lines. Wich makes you think about harsher rules to make them fear the law and the consequences of their actions.

True Colors and Ignition were both on the field reffing, and both teams did a fantastic job.

However, when you've got a known trouble maker on the field, the Ultimate Judge has to watch him like a hawk.

There's no excuse for the judges reporting back to Moose the information they did, Moose made a dicision based on what the judges present said; what else could he do?

LaSoya is always the source of some controvercy, if you want to make him fall in line, then watch him carefully, and if he steps out of line, punish him!

And that goes for all 'trouble' players, not just Chris.

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but LaSoya is no longer allowed to play the PanAm series because of his actions. He went around and a mutual bunker occured, but then he shot the poor guy 12 times in the head. The person blacked out and an ambulance had to be called. He was carried away on a stretcher.

Not saying that I like to hurt people, but with all that adrenalin, the reaction would be to put him to sleep.
Matter of of fact, if I even saw him trying to hurt one of my teammate, I would prob do the same thing.
I know fighting is wrong, but when someone deliberately try to hurt me, the reaction can only be one.

Ps, I do not approve of fysical contacts in this sport, but the line gotto be drawn somewhere.
