Oh yeah, I am aware of that, but lets face it some of the teams were`nt just playing their first tournament, + I dont think adding an extra 2 pots to a teams allowance would be that wallet damagingOriginally posted by L1f3
The idea of limited paint mate is to try and keep the cost down for teams just dipping there toes in the tourney scene
Nothing wrong with the set up as it stands except that, with the availability of cheap air systems and the increase of participating teams, the demand for H-PAC will increase.Originally posted by Gurney
Blakey,
Is the 3 pot per team rule cast in stone ??, because I think that maybe 5 pots per team or even unlimited paint would make for more interesting and aggresive play.......not saying the day was`nt fun, but look at the final game, nobody wanted to move

If it was unlimited then people would just play bottom division midland masters....
Personally like the idea of playing a mixture of Sup Air and concept fields. Loved the fields at Wolverhampton at the first KOTH

i saw plenty of aggresive "moves" through out the day and i put a lot of this down to the fact that the paint was limited,to so little. you couldnt just sit back and throw 9pots a back man at the opps you had to think save ye paint..work out were you could put the little you had to the best use. also it makes it a cheap day for the new teams and thats why the tourney was set up.
as for H_pac its a great idear but the price is another down side for the young teams......ok for a guy like me who works full time and has plenty of dough to blow...but for a young team that only have a saturday job its a big deal, with that and the paint ye looking at a £10-£20 increase per player.
as for the next round im in 2 minds i like woodland and still do a spot...but as it has already been said."its to get new teams into tourney ball" and as blow up is the way i cant see what a woodland novice tourney would serve
