i thought the idea of the king of the hill event, was to introduce new teams to both sides of paintball,ie 2 woods and 2 air,why change it half way through the series:confused:

KOTH was designed to introduce new players to Tournament and as the general trend is to move the major tournaments to sup air only. Both MM and Series 2k3 have stated that there will be no woodland events within the tournament series next year.
So natural progression dictates that KOTH should follow suit

plus it was limited paint makes it more of a challange after all any one can laydown loads of paint but it takes a team to work together to get a result(just my opinion)

Blakey,
Is the 3 pot per team rule cast in stone ??, because I think that maybe 5 pots per team or even unlimited paint would make for more interesting and aggresive play.......not saying the day was`nt fun, but look at the final game, nobody wanted to move :(

The idea of limited paint mate is to try and keep the cost down for teams just dipping there toes in the tourney scene :)

If it was unlimited then people would just play bottom division midland masters....

Personally like the idea of playing a mixture of Sup Air and concept fields. Loved the fields at Wolverhampton at the first KOTH :)
