One of my old teammates used to have his bottle like that years ago. It looked stupid was off balance and he had to hold the bottle to be able to fire properly which was not good when its cold and was a co2 bottle his hand used to get stuck
The end of the bottle also made a nice big target!

I'm currently reviewing a JAM Enterprises Endo drop...I normally just stick my Dynaflow on a rail under the grip and call it good, but this Endo DF has possibilities...it looks weird, but it's actually quite comfortable...I'll snap a pic of the setup if anyone's interested...

a hinged drop is prob just another thing to think about whilst playing and would cost wedge.
