Was he screaming in pain when he noticed?
Well...he was a big brave scaffolder bloke..he was very obviously in pain, as his face was screwed up, but I assume his body was in shock or something....his jacket (one of those big flourescent jobbies) covered up the injury...he obvioulsy, pulled himself up on his good leg, and while supporting himself on the scaffold pole, people asked him if hes OK (why do we do that? someone falls, bangs there head or something, or suffers a berevement or whatever, first thing we do is go "Oh, are you allright?"!!!) i mean...from him hitting the ground ( we all heard it) to the discovery of his shorter leg, was probably no more than a minute....but of course, once we saw the problem and he did as well, I think he went further into shock to be honest!!!
It was weird, I couldnt believe what i was seeing..but there wasnt really much blood, just this rough looking bit of bone poking out of his chunky gut, just above where his hip was...crazy sh!t...makes me ill just to think about it...
JOE BOB.....What they say is right, DIY isnt for wa*kers!!
