It's really upsetting for me to read through one of these posts. We try and help everyone we can. We give excellent prices and do what we can to keep in touch with customers. If we don't have a product in stock then we won't deduct any funds until it is in stock. We will always try and contact by phone and/or email to keep customers in the know if they're not going to get their order on time and we never charge a next day delivery fee if the item isn't going to be delivered within 24 hours.
If we have a customer with a complaint then if you call us we will go out of our way to sort it out. I got Nick's email last Saturday and replied last Saturday - within a couple of hours of receiving his mail - to explain that the products his wife had ordered were out of stock and we were very sorry that we couldn't supply them in time for his birthday. They were products we hadn't managed to get into stock in time because our suppliers didn't have them. We hadn't charged his wife's card for the order and I believe Andy had spoken to Nick's wife a couple of times to explain that they were out of stock. I'm sorry if we didn't call her that one final time to let her know that they wouldn't be in stock for Nick's birthday. I can only apologise again here publicly, as I did in my email last Saturday.
Likewise, I'm sorry I never saw this thread sooner - we've been really busy lately. We've just taken delivery of pallet-loads of stock so our shops are now fully stocked up again and 99% of items are always in stock. We have a huge warehouse/walkin shop - (one of the only ones in the country where you can actually touch and feel the goods you're about to buy) - not "just a few squeegies and a box of paint in the back room" (ollgeeze) as anyone who has visited will realise.
If we're giving you terrible service then please contact us so we can sort it out. It really isn't intentional. One person has a bad experience and the whole world gets told. Twenty people have a great experience and no one says a thing.
I'm sure I've said this before... anyone can have my direct email address which I check every single day.
gill@justpaintall.co.uk comes directly to my inbox. If you call the shop on 01325 24 24 19 nine out of ten times you will get either myself or Andy - we are both able to sort out orders, complaints, problems, issues, etc. PM me on here and I will get it but emailing me really is quicker.
(Final note, next day delivery orders must be placed before 3pm. If it's ordered after 3 then the courrier has already been to collect the parcels so it won't go till the next day. I'm sorry if this has caused any problems for anyone but I'm sure it's mentioned on the website.)
I hope that clears some stuff up although I'm sure there's still a few p*ssed off people out there. If anyone has a problem with JUST that hasn't yet been resolved please email me whenever or call me when we're open.
