Very Mr C, I see your not to be trifled with.
The difference between Golf and Paintball technology is that improvements in Golf technology have a direct affect and influence on your game, do all the changes to the G7 have a direct benefit? When I switched from using standard Z Ballata's to the Callaway HX balls (i.e. nondimpled hexagon covered balls), my distance improved at least 10-15 yards on my drive. Yes the HX balls cost a lot more, but they made a noticeable difference in 80%+ of drives.
I mean guns are already more efficient than we'd ever need them, do you really need 17-1900 shots of 1.1 fill?
So what if the gun is capable of 50 bps, you can't shoot or load it that fast, and with ROF caps becoming commonplace why?
Is the gun any more accurate, given that accuracy is largely dependent upon barrel and ball. I accept that consistency has an impact, but how much of a consistency improvement are we seeing 1 or 2%?
So taking aside aesthetics, the only tangible benefit of all this technology seems to introduce is less kick, for a bag of sand?
