No problem Bob. I just have to stick up for myself and my team members. To be honest, I really don't know too much about who they have played for in the past since I just got back from Europe. All I know is, I had 2 tryouts and picked the cream of the crop from Georgia. Time will tell how we will do, but I have a lot of confidence in this team. What I said about Nexus has nothing to do with their performance at HB. I know and have played against most of those guys on the team and I really want to play them to see how we would do against them. I wasn't knocking them in any way b/c they are an extremely talented team. I think you just took what I said the wrong way. So who do you play for?? Hopefully I will meet you in Vegas;) In the bar for a beer and in the middle:cool:

Darn...you mean that Nexus isn't going to be a rookie team's dream match? Poo, I was looking forward to a better game after our matchup against Ton Ton's...I was so proud I pushed in the standup behind the standing "A", saw that he was reloading, scooted up to the laydown "A", peeked to see if the standup was still shooting my old bunker after my peek, was very pleased that he apparently didn't see me, was setup to pop out and snapshoot him, when the bunker started that dreaded "vibe" so I tried to pop him as he came over the top but missed (he later told someone he didn't know how I missed) and I was wondering how he was able to bunker me when I noticed that there was no-one behind me anymore...I was hoping that someone that ate kidney pie and drank warm beer would be a little slower, or maybe I could smell him coming? :D Maybe if we see you guys in our lineup we could get you drunk the night before...hmmm...or maybe if we snuck into Robbo's room and substituted in shirts that were two sizes two small and he'd spend the rest of the day trying to get them on so he'd look good and miss coaching Nexus against us...

Wouldn't work, Robbo already wears his shirts 2 sizes too small :D

Ray, what team did you play with in HB? Just wondering if I was there for any of your games.

Hi Shamu: I was on team Relic, in the Nov division. We decided to call ourselves "Relic" 'cause we're the "Over The Hill" gang that was featured on paintball.com for the Seattle Pan Am (team This Side Up). We figured most of us were in our late 30's or early 40's, I'm a frontman that weighs 180 lbs (not 80 stone as I advertised elsewhere) so we were looking for a more descriptive name like "Ancient Relics" and we're sponsored by Evil so we actually are Ancient EVIL "Relics". The only people who'll get a giggle out of that are people with pocket protectors that know what D&D stands for :) We were the team with the yellow Evil jerseys that didn't have any lettering on them (our teammate from PMI who was doing that had to drive to Oregon two days before the tournament). We played mostly on the Raven field (5 games)(I was the one who'd jump into the hamburger snake who usually took 3 guys out if I made it to the far hamburger)(http://forceofnature.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=My_eGallery&file=index&do=showpic&pid=3034&orderby=dateD

I had to back up to shoot the center "D" then I wrapped around, shot the hamburger's backman, then shot the hamburger guy in the pic...I guess I "Big Mac'd" Him? Or was I his "Mac Daddy"? Or did I "Lay down some sMac"? Or...

:)

Ken's is at http://forceofnature.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=My_eGallery&file=index&do=showpic&pid=3039&orderby=dateD

I like the "Relic" logo on the side of his hopper :) ) and we were on the Angel field when the "A" collapsed just before the game started. We threw three "new" people onto the roster just before the tournament (that week actually) so we feel that we did very well for not having ever played with that roster before. Also, we were only one point below Fatal Swoop, who spent January practicing almost every weekend on the same field with Avalanche, Shockwave LA, and I belive Naughty Dogs were there one weekend...I practiced with them (taking down those air bunkers every Sunday was a PAIN) so it was a little sweet to see that our put-together team did just as well as Swoop with their 24 man practice roster. I think on the game that Ken has his picture, we won that game, but it was 2-on-3 Ken snapshot two of the three out but his other teammate's gun was down (hopper fried) so Yates, ran forward to distract the remaining guy, got shot out, then Ken snapshot him and had to run the flag in...Ken is rather large so we were cheering from the deadbox after he hung it :) :)
