Ray, what team did you play with in HB? Just wondering if I was there for any of your games.

Hi Shamu: I was on team Relic, in the Nov division. We decided to call ourselves "Relic" 'cause we're the "Over The Hill" gang that was featured on paintball.com for the Seattle Pan Am (team This Side Up). We figured most of us were in our late 30's or early 40's, I'm a frontman that weighs 180 lbs (not 80 stone as I advertised elsewhere) so we were looking for a more descriptive name like "Ancient Relics" and we're sponsored by Evil so we actually are Ancient EVIL "Relics". The only people who'll get a giggle out of that are people with pocket protectors that know what D&D stands for
We were the team with the yellow Evil jerseys that didn't have any lettering on them (our teammate from PMI who was doing that had to drive to Oregon two days before the tournament). We played mostly on the Raven field (5 games)(I was the one who'd jump into the hamburger snake who usually took 3 guys out if I made it to the far hamburger)(

I had to back up to shoot the center "D" then I wrapped around, shot the hamburger's backman, then shot the hamburger guy in the pic...I guess I "Big Mac'd" Him? Or was I his "Mac Daddy"? Or did I "Lay down some sMac"? Or...
Ken's is at

I like the "Relic" logo on the side of his hopper
) and we were on the Angel field when the "A" collapsed just before the game started. We threw three "new" people onto the roster just before the tournament (that week actually) so we feel that we did very well for not having ever played with that roster before. Also, we were only one point below Fatal Swoop, who spent January practicing almost every weekend on the same field with Avalanche, Shockwave LA, and I belive Naughty Dogs were there one weekend...I practiced with them (taking down those air bunkers every Sunday was a PAIN) so it was a little sweet to see that our put-together team did just as well as Swoop with their 24 man practice roster. I think on the game that Ken has his picture, we won that game, but it was 2-on-3 Ken snapshot two of the three out but his other teammate's gun was down (hopper fried) so Yates, ran forward to distract the remaining guy, got shot out, then Ken snapshot him and had to run the flag in...Ken is rather large so we were cheering from the deadbox after he hung it
