Robbo, you don’t just say what your opponent likes to hear, you say their argument to their satisfaction and then you make your argument against that. It prevents you from stupefying their argument and when you do that, you aren’t arguing against that person, but against your negative thoughts on the issue.
I wish I took debate class, maybe I could make myself a little more clear.
Andy, this forum, unlike most, has a fair few people who are stupefyingly bright coupled with quite an expansive knowledge of our sport.

Lack of understanding of the other's argument is hardly ever a problem here, lack of 'knowing when to stop' however, is.
You get some great debates on here sometimes and it's a great opportunity to learn and also to get an insight into some of the things that go on in paintball at the top end.
