I'm sure we are all fully aware of X-BALL, and of course good luck to Robbo and the rest of the UK team (whoever the final line may be).
I doubt anyone can deny that this thing is going to be BIG!, but is this the future? Richmond has lined everyone up, hes got all the big names involved, hes go the power and industry muscle to make it work... but what effect will it have in the long run?
Speak your brians on whether you think this will be the face of paintball's future or another interesting variation on the theme?
Personnally I like it... it solves the age old problem of how to motivate teams to actually push for the game, to go for it and make the games exiting to watch rather than playing the technical slogg-fest most games tend to turn into.
Just one criticism, PRE-GAME CHONY.. this is the BIG missing element, on game speed checks are all well and good and should be applauded and encouraged.. but to shoot hot isn't just 'cheating' its a safety risk, in my mind safety risks should be removed where-ever possible BEFORE they become an issue and to let a potential safety risk onto the pitch just isn't cricket!
