Is World Cup headed for a trainwreck?

I mean, c'mon. The 5-man competition is supposed to be completed in 2 days with an estimated 200+ teams? On how many fields?
And on Monday when the fives are finishing when do 10-man Ams get to walk? NPPL rules specify they get a minimum of 4 hours.
And of course the Rooks, Novs, and Pros are supposed to get their 4 hours min. on Wednesday when the Ams are playing.
And how many of the Ams have signed up to ref the rest of the week or are we gonna get the goofball refs who ain't playin' for anybody but come from fields around Florida to hang out? [I ran into a half dozen of them last year I knew personally and what can I say but Ay Caramba! Two of 'em couldn't even tie their shoes without mommy's help.]

PS--my apologies to he-knows-who but at least I waited until close to the "final" registration date to post these queries. ;) :)

But Skyball is an indoor tournament isn't it? Which means you don't have to worry about daylight hours for things like field walking.
This would be easier to think about if us poor little Europeans knew when the daylight hours are in Florida at this time of year. Not just how long but clock hours - not much use to teams walking the fields if 2 hours of their 4 allocated for field walking are from 5-7AM.

If my memory serves me well (doesn't always when you get this old with the mileage I have registered), you can count on 6.30 until 19.30 for field-walking in Orlando. Assuming it's not too cloudy.

I remember vehicle lights and flashlights (torches for you limeys:D) during the Sunday evening award ceremonies, post 20.00. Otherwise couldn't see my hand in front of my face. That was in 1999.

Couple of things...

Skyball was all ready to be viewed (walk the fields) before the event started (I set the fields up, with help of course ;) ) so that isn't an issue, nor the numbers of teams but then as the fields were there up teams could look at what they wanted to with plenty of time.

World Cup....mmm thats a lot more awkward what the schedule also says if read close enough is that although the 5 man teams are down to play 2 days they are also on the schedule to play the tuesday morning (bit of insurrance methinks ;) )
With the Am's getting moved about there doesn't appear to be any spare time (within the schedule as published) so its all gonna be tight. As for daylight hours, 7 am it is lightish enough to play but then you will have teams playing at around that time so no walking gonna happen then. Badly selected Judges will happen at any tournament, the World Cup doesn't have the monopoly in that respect (some were asked to leave last year and I'm sure that will happen again) back to Skyball again (this happened and the teams were TOLD not asked to leave (Skyball II btw) but this wasn't incompetance but down right bias to any who had french french canadian blood but they went none the less) There will all be lots of shouting AFTER the event but then doesn't that happen after every event? There is always one team or another who will feel that they didn't get a "fair shake", plus if the World Cup went totally smoothly it wouldn't be the World Cup. In all the years that the event has been ran there have been improvements year after year but still the crap flys (normally after the event so this year is a first) There are a great deal of different tournament options to be had in recent years (Skyball started the ball rolling, Mardis Gras, Campaign, and the one in France who's name I can't remember (honest I can't) ) so perhaps a major shake up will happen next year ? who knows if it will even be in a field next year?
