agreed

yup, didn't mention anything about team sizes did I :p, but 5-man has to be the one. 7-man is too slow, but with 3-man, like you say, there's only so many plays you can run

i think the concept of cameras everwhere is exactly what was needed, and other tournaments might do well to have the high cranes looking down on all the action.

I agree with haz, ultimate arena paintball has an edge, it already tells people the concept and that leaves no room for confusion or the baller explaining 'no, it's tournament, we use inflatables'.

If they can get something at least similar to what the extreme dodgeball show on bravo has, the excitement and adrenaline; they big everything up and have all the conventions like the commentary, interviews and graphics they have all make the show really immersive. If you watch it you'll see. Course there are things that don't look so good and may not work, but im thinking that general idea is a good thing.

The smoke and lights is when you face off against the other team on the stage.

Then you take a little walk down a ramp and into the cage.

During the game, the field remains with lights like this. No smoke, no strobes, no distractions.

The concept is along the lines of WWF meets paintball. I expect that if the WPL makes it to season 2 then we will see alot of smack talk, etc between teams for the show just like in wrestling.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that its all made as a show for television.

Ultimate Arena Ball

It is in its 3rd or 4th season!

It used to be the world 3 man champs like in Aruba.

I watched it last year over hear on Superstation WGN.

Outdoor channel shows Inside Paintball today, but I cant wait to see the ESPN coverage from last year. 8, 1 hour shows, a lot of other people are going to watch this I hope it goes ballistic and not flop!

I can't wait for the thirty second slots on sky when paintballers are bellowing into the camera, threatening to tear the other team captain's head off next time they meet in the no-holds-barred cage match at UAPL Insurrection or Backlash or something.

Then we could start having signature moves. Like the People's Feedneck.

Can you smeeeelellllllelelllllll what Rock Knuth is cooking?
