Yep ive also noticed a lot of the american paintball reviews sites include vidoes where the testers dont wear masks. Although i know there may be no danger of them hiting them selves. It is still not the message to give out i dont think.

Amen thank god another person who cares about the image of the sport
To which sport do you refer? Paintball? Its participant based not spectator, hell I love paintball and find it like watching paint dry to watch, so the only people bothered by this (and this again is a minority I would guess) are people who already play?

So I ask to whom are we to be concerned about this tarnishing our 'sports' (and I use the word loosely) image?

I can search the internet and find videos of people getting hit with golfclubs, baseballbats and all manner of other sporting goods... I don't anyone getting upset about it, or the fact that these are sold to Joe public?

Anything in the wrong hands is dangerous... and I think the majority of people with an ounce of common sense would be quick enough to realise it don't you?

Its the same as anything else there will always be people acting irresponsible with item.It may be a motocross bike and wearing no helmet or it might be a paintball gun again wearing no helmet.
There is nothing you can do except watch it and let them get on with it.As long as your being safe and not fooling around when you arent meant too.
Its all good
And as Parksy says Anything in the wrong hands is dangerous... and I think the majority of people with an ounce of common sense would be quick enough to realise it don't you?
