is the etek ego really that price?

hi guys been on 2 planet website and it says the etek ego is £500 is that really the price or is the gun that bad its not better than an 05 or 06?

its meant to be as good, but cheaper... i think think of it like how an ion is to a impy; a etek is to a ego06... could be wrong however.

oh just thinkin that they must be crapper than an 05/06 as they are well cheaper

cheaper doesn't mean worse... it can mean evolution into better, cheaper materials, or bulk manufacture. but yes, sometimes it can mean worse; from planet, doubt it though

Does anyone else think the olive and black ETek looks disgusting?

They're cheaper because they have less features, i.e no lcd, no QEVs on the ram, simpler milling. Less frills, but I wouldn't expect it to be "crapper", just less good
