Yeah I dont think it was racist. They were running a business.

Although im fairly certain if id been fluent in Chinese, they still wouldnt have hired me.

I have a White Anglo Saxon work ethic im afraid.

This happens alot! specially for young crowd. I have girlfriends who can get jobs in news-agents, sweet shops and waiting etc. but the only jobs boys can seem to get under the age of 16 seems to be Paper-rounds which i have been doing for 3 years now which i get payed half of what the girls get payed and i have to get soaked every few weeks before school because of the bloody english weather. Thats my rant

There's an itallian place in Carlisle where everyone serving speaks with an itallien accent, wether they are or not!

Guy from my old 6th form works there, it's kind of odd hearing him speak with an accent then switch to Cumbrian out of work!
