I don't understand what the attraction of playing paintball on a Computer is though. Surely computer games are escapist, and what's escapist about playing something you can do fo'real anytime you want.

I prefer blowing sh*t up, stabbing people (can you get knives in Ghost Recon i.e. big f*ck off shiny ones, ones that look like they could skin a crocodile?), I like knives. Pretty sure you can't have them in GH Paintball.
At the mo, its about as close as I can get, I also have no idea what else to ask for for my b'day

I just like the thought of sharing a barricade with Keeley Watson!

Greg Hastings is the best PAINTBALL game on the market. If you want to play a first person shooter, don't waste your time, because there are much better games out there for that. But if you want to play PAINTBALL on the Xbox, it's about as close as you can get. I've played all the goofy $2 bargain bin paintball games, and patches for the first person games, and GHTP is the best I've played by far. The game moves are about as close as you can get with only 6 buttons and two thumbsticks to work with. Is it exactly like the real thing? Not quite. But it's a damn fine simulation, and by far the best for any gaming console. Same could be said about any type of game really. Go ask an elite fighting squad if Ghost Recon is very realistic for them, or a Nascar driver about Gran Turismo  Lots of fun to play though.

GHTP, maybe the best paintball game out there, but Paintball is a participation activity. It's not sexy to look at.

Still you pays your money and takes your pick. All games can be improved upon or this shoulda been done or that, we the consumer are a fussy lot.

For all of GR2's brilliance it's missing a capture and torture the prisoner mode. Like where you have to torture info out of an enemy soldier or cut bit's of em off and stick them in their mouth. Or even better will be a "Build your own enemy soldier" mode where you have to create your own pet enemy soldier out of body parts.

Now that would be realistic!

sorry, I thought the question was "Is Greg Hastings any good?", in which case the answer would be "no, but he's a nice guy":
Haven't played the game though, don't really do the video game thing, too many beers and chicks in the world....

Sorry, did I interupt you all while y'all were masturbating? My apologies, now get back to your rooms before you miss the ultimate pass code for the level 7 entry port............

bye geeks!
