Posted my praise on the other forums so i guess i will do the same on here...

First off the weather, nspa has suffered at the harsh hands of mother nature at her nastyness, today was a beautiful day, same kinda weather witnessed at the pa with a nice breeze that helped cool you off.

Cracking days ball, really really enjoyable to play and watch, some first class game play was witnessed today without a shadow of dowt!

As gassy said before, shame some teams didnt show or showed then left totally no idea what that was all about, but lets just say you missed out FACT!!

Fusion first team ... class act to follow and dished out some lessons! Monks second game with fusion 1 was my fav game of the day, that came down to a 1 on 1 with 2 back players ... and i lost lol!! Got a bit excited and ran the full field worrying about the lack of balls i had left, the guy sat tight and done his job, great game play!!

Although my throat is a little sore and i have pretty much lost my voice from shouting, i came home with very few war wounds as the sportsmanship was great... mugging placed inch perfect on packs etc etc (cheers Dan lol) and bonus balling or overshooting was no issue at all for a pleasant change!

Only regret is that i had to come home tonight as i was kinda looking forward to staying over especially with the great facilities that have been provided!

Was good to see teams with players who have never played ball in their lives turn up play and learn, bettering themselves with every game and the rest of the teams (and refs) offering advice and helping them into the sport... well done boys!!

Refs as always were top quality and my apologies to gassy for teaching him how foul language should NOT be used on a paintball field :-S lol. As for (i think marshy - uk ref) i honestly felt sorry for you bud, standing at the back taking literally hundreds of shots per game as he was right on top of game play and right amongst the action!! I did wonder... does Russ dislike you?? Everyone had shields except you and you took the bashing lol, well done!! You can tell the uks refs are the best in Europe if not the world!!!

Without a dowt the best ionman of this year, any teams thinking of joining in or wanting to play.... dont think - just do, you wont be disappointed and it will be very hard to find events of this caliber anywhere! The staff and support plus the facilities are second to non and are still being improved!!!

Well done EVERYONE in attendance 'big clap'

Cheers :D

Well the 1st supair event of the ionman series was fantastic,a great venue at NSPA played host to 8 teams who all played extremely well today. From a ref perspective you were a pleasure to watch over and i think the day was played in a fair manor and in a great atmosphere.
One slightly naughty marker and only a couple of incidents of playing on made our day much easier.
So to Daz and Chris thanks alot for a topclass event today and bring on the next one.

1st Fusion 1 (only dropped 3 points all day)

2nd Newcastle Lockdown

3rd Madmonks ( I think)

To the three teams who didn't show after telling the organizers they would definatley be there after taking a bye last month then went to a senario game instead I personally feel you should be ashamed of yourselves.
The same goes to the team who showed up and then went home before the event started.

Ok guys 8pm Monday night and just back in from the event. What a blinding day guys and the after drinks session was a great laugh. If you ain't seen Gilly from the UK Refs p***ed yet you really need to do so !!

Few changes going to happen for the next one to improve things even more and we look forward to the event becoming bigger again.

Thanks to all the UK Refs and Gassy and all the players and Daz and Neil for pulling the stops out and grafting their socks of to make the event what it was !

Websites will be up dated soon and haven't been for other reasons.

Can I request to the mods again that we have a sticky for this event again please. It is a big event with great prizes and is one of a few if not the only really big event for the North East of England.

Cheers

I concur with the Big Man! A sticky would be helpful, but only under the premise it wouldn't be abused! So if it's granted I personally guarntee no self indulgence and nonsense chit chat, just info orientated and Tournament reviews.
