The IONMAN 2008 series will be conforming to the new millenium rules which are also used by the UKmasters series which means the max rate of fire will be capped at 12 bps.

So sort your markers out and cap the rate of fire (ROF) at 12.

It is still semi only so no ramping,3 shot burst or anyting other than semi.

PLease make sure your team know of this change and be warned we have bps capable chronos availible on the day of the events.

if you cannot cap your marker an old trick it to use a revi or similar slower hopper to effectively keep you rate of fire down.

Is it going to stay 15bps for the january event so this gives people time to get a new board etc just for the first game? Personally i thinks its better with less bps (infact i would say it shud be 10 lol) and both my markers can be capped easy but there may be others with older markers who can not cap them or as its late notice cant get a hold of a slower hopper.

Last ionman we were down a player and so was another team so i played for both teams so did a lad from the other team (had me totally shattered by the end of the day!), i am sure there is always spare players (hence the odd bods team name under the universal stable), when i have played at nspa before there is always somone that turns up without a team and willing to play so you shud be able get get a body if your stuck. See ya next sunday! You will enjoy it!
