As with anything, put the screws in loosely at first, then tighten them up afterwards.
Make sure you do not cross thread them, as this is easily done!

A couple of my mates had this problem with their ION grips but only the colour kit ones(not stock) you just have to stretch em really.
I've got an Ion, and so have a few of my mates any they all suffer with it. Even with my SP Sticky grips! trick is to put the screws in loosly stretch it round and then tighten it when you get all four in

Mine do not line up, i don;t think it's a problem i think it's done like that for a reason. if the holes lined up then you would get movement on the rubber handle. If it is a tight fit then you won't get any play

Not sure if this affects all the hybrid grips but certainly on the ones I have . Don't forget to trim down the top grip screw as the hybrid grips are thinner than stock and you could damage the internalsI hope so lol It would give me an excuse to swap them for Hybrids
brought my son some hybrids grips at christmas and they now come with small screws for the top of the grip... so you dont screw into the internals.....
they took some stretching and it was easy to tight the bottom screws first and not worry about lining the top .... once you get the bottoms in it stretches the whole grip into place and the holes all come together
