Shouldn't be the frame so if the problem continues to the point of frustration maybe a new grip would be the answer :)

I've got an Ion, and so have a few of my mates any they all suffer with it. Even with my SP Sticky grips! trick is to put the screws in loosly stretch it round and then tighten it when you get all four in

Mine do not line up, i don;t think it's a problem i think it's done like that for a reason. if the holes lined up then you would get movement on the rubber handle. If it is a tight fit then you won't get any play

brought my son some hybrids grips at christmas and they now come with small screws for the top of the grip... so you dont screw into the internals.....

they took some stretching and it was easy to tight the bottom screws first and not worry about lining the top .... once you get the bottoms in it stretches the whole grip into place and the holes all come together:)
