scary isnt it! What the hell would we do without power? JUst think how much energy would be saved with people switching lights off when they leave a room, not leaving computers on etc etc.

curious to how they did it ..its a 24hr cycle round the planet yeh so that its always night where the satellite camera is or am I missing something.

and I believe the populated areas of Australia are minute compared to the outback/bush

The satellite is stationary on the drak side of the earth and just takes one constant photo

At least that's what I read a few months ago!

I don't think people realise how BIG Australia actually is. Not far off the size of mainland europe..........................
