Inter university tourney

Hello DUPS folks (plus others obviously), how be tricks?

During initial discussions I had with Alex we mentioned the electro thing, and at the time turbo was still allowed. My only worry was that a uni team who had only played a few games "punter" would get absolutley wiped out every game. Now that turbo's aren't an issue, and it appears that quite a lot of experienced (to some degree) players play for uni teams, I'm all in with everyone else, and say let's go for it.

How are the DUPS?

Hya Mat,

The DUPS are in transition, so by the beggining of next term we may be back to a team that gets maxed every game, or we may recruit some new tallent who have already played tourney paintball, and we may be force to be reconned with (but I fear that the former wil be the truth!). We have ended our season this year pretty well, with a 4th place in our division at Simply the Best, and with in a max of the top spot, which is a far cry from our "Yay we didn't come last!" days.

About the tourney, yes it does seem that all sorts of scary players will be dragging a team up to the tourney (we thought this would be a tourney we could win without any trouble ), so it should be a good tourney, without the embarrassment of us maxing every team within a couple of minutes, which would make for a very embarrasing prize giving.

I just hope we will have a great tourney for y'all.

Oh and sorry to DUPS for making it a tourney you wont easily win (if you meant me) but theres only me and Dan from Sad UK who play at amateur level, also there is Keith form Sad too who plays at novice level, he is going to cambridge.

Anyway theres a whole year to catch up..

Hi everyone. Flash , how are you doing? Did you have fun at Campaign and more importantly the camp site?

Dan and the DUPS guys and girls , the inter Uni tourney sounds like a very good idea and if you need a marshall I will be available. Teesside uni does not have a team so it looks like I will be missing out on this

Alien , sup air on a cricket pitch Are they insane to let you play on there? Its gonna get ruined but it will be the best playing surface ever! How did you manage to organise that one? Sounds like a good tourney, are you having any more as the team is concentrating on other things at the moment? Good luck and I hope it goes well.

Flash , how are you doing? Did you have fun at Campaign and more importantly the camp site?

But of course I had fun at Campaign - who didn't?

I'm just gutted I missed out on all the fun on Saturday nite, but as I'm sure Amy said at the time: "Heesh knackered! HIC" or words to that effect. I hadn't realised how tiring it would be looking after my bunch of kiddies (luv ya all bugout) for that many days straight, and by midnight I was falling asleep stood up.

I'll be well up for partying next time though (Brum Indoor if it's on, maybe Mayhem?)

I too missed out on the fun at the camp site on saturday night. Went out exploring pubs and clubs in London, ended up in Caesers! £21 all you can drink and eat Went down very well indeed. Only one problem, remembering where we staying! Will be partying at Mayhem and probabily Brummy indoor. Its what paintballing is about
