Hey Guppy, my apologies Emma but I have to take issue with something, I haven't 'lost' my hair, I am merely shaving my head, were I to let my locks blossom forth, it would resemble Mr Lasoya in a mere matter of months.
And as for the Bruce Willis comment, well, I will take that as a compliment and await the pleasures of Demi Moore to come knocking on my door :)
(I know they split up, but hey, I can wish)

I called you Emma because, I know you are no Sigmund, you tell me you are no Clement either, because you are female, therefore you must be Emma (Freud), get it ?
A bit subtle I know :)
As for the Becket, my uncle used to train some boxers in there years back but I think I only ever drunk in there once and that was when I was 5 (Sarsaparilla :) ).
I used to live in East Lane (where the market is) on top of one of the shops there but that was a long time ago :)
Drank a few times in the Frog but still, that was a while back also and things have changed round there so much now, different sort of people from when I used to live there.

Mmm...sarsaparilla/sasparilla is rather tasty indeed. We have lots of little sassafrass trees around here for digging up roots for it, though you have to have a lot for it to be strong enough. Did you know that sasparilla was originally a cold remedy? Sassafrass tea it is, often pink, more akin to rootbeer in smell than taste. We'd dig some roots up at Boy Scout camp for cold and rainy days when we'd have nothing else to do with our spare time and needed something to make the day a little brighter. Anyway, since none of us have much time to be wandering around digging up small tree roots, you MUST get a bottle of Zatarain's root beer extract. I think you can order it directly from the site in my infoline, www.zatarain.com. CHECK IT OUT!

It's good to take a trip down Memory Lane, (FA to do with P8ntball, but good nonetheless!! Don't s'pose your Uncle trained Jimmy Batten did he?? (circa 1975/6) Jimmy's sister Eileen was me best m8te back then. He trained in the Beckett. Know what you mean about not the same people... i lived in Docklands (Rotherhite) in the 70's/80's had this great community spirit...then the LDDC moved us all out & built Yuppie flats. Guess I like P8ntball for the same 'Community Spirit' thing. Getting ready for the day...exchanging news...walking the field together...losing together...showing each other the bruises in the rubber dub dub that nite...y'know the score!!

PS you can still get a good deal on leather goods down the Lane!
