It means dear Rancid, that metaphoric dreams have a funny way of reflecting reality !!!
Ne'er mind my good friend, somebody's gotta be challenged in some department so that the rest of us can feel good.
Thanks again peewee !!

LOL, Guppy, I think I may well be in good company with the rest of humanity in not wanting 'to lose or to being ugly'.
Hardly anything too surprising or perceptive regarding that bout of analysis you have just indulged in !!!
Better luck next time Mr Freud, unfortunately for you, it's Clement Freud rather than Sigmund :)

Robbo,

Some people worry about losing or being ugly or in some terrible cases both, And I see that you are quite content the way you are as a self confested lover of greek proportions (Eros? ;) Oedopus?)

For the rest of us who worry about losing and being ugly, well you get used to it after a while:D

Tom Tom, if you re-read my post, I think you will see that I am agreeing with you, I am classifying myself along with everybody else in not wanting to lose or be ugly !!
Anyway, as for the attempted analysis being extended to you identifying me with Eros and Oedipus ?
Hmmm, well, Eros was the Greek God of Love, so that one ain't bad but Oedipus married his own mother, I think the person you were looking for was in fact, Narcissus who, was made to fall in love with his own reflection, now this would have made much more sense :) :) :)

Hey Guppy, my apologies Emma but I have to take issue with something, I haven't 'lost' my hair, I am merely shaving my head, were I to let my locks blossom forth, it would resemble Mr Lasoya in a mere matter of months.
And as for the Bruce Willis comment, well, I will take that as a compliment and await the pleasures of Demi Moore to come knocking on my door :)
(I know they split up, but hey, I can wish)

My goodness. All this and brains too. Pete's not just a former boxer, and EastEnders escapee, paintball legend, but a classical history scholar to boot...:D

Hmmm, never made it as a boxer really, just did a bit of amateur, that's all, as for Eastender ?, Nah, Elephant and Castle in fact which is in 'Sarf' London.
Paintball Legend ? Hmmm, notorious maybe :)
And classics scholar ?
Oh my, I hated classics, Maths and Science was more my bag.

And I doubt one would have to be anything like a scholar to have heard about Narcissus or Oedipus and of course the greatest of them all, Jason and the Argonauts :)
Damn what a film that was !!!!

Oops. Appleoggies. The only sound bite of your voice I've heard was something briefly on the p8ntballer web site.

Paintball Legend ? Hmmm, notorious maybe :)
Oooo...Careful. I'd almost consider interpretting that statement as bordering on humility...Besides, coach for England's X Ball team, former Pro player, featured under the Legends on Ronn Stern's web site...Eeww. I'd better stop. My nose is turning brown...X-P

Which one? The mini-series with Jason London? Ah, The Odyssey with Armand Assante was much better :)

I am talking about the 1963 film with Todd Armstrong as Jason and directed by Don Chaffey I think, now that's a 'classic' I do like, especially the bit when Talos comes to life, damn near **** myself when I first saw it, still I was only 9.
Sshhhiiiiit, am I that old ? :)
