the pimp has a point but a more user friendly approach would be to:
Soak it in water hot as you can stand.
Get an orange stick (ask your girlfriend) and lift the toenail up as much as possible.
Take some cotton wool soaked in TCP or other anti bac stuff and gently force it under the nail btween the skin and the nail.
This is painful but as the pressure eases it gets better i promise.
Keep the toe clean and dry and change packing every 3-4 days.
this forces the nail and skin apart and allows the nail to natural resume it original growth.
This is often caused through poor foot maintenaince. Always clean and dry feet properly. Moisturise (I realise your a Paint baller but look, Robbo must moisturise or how else would he maintain a healthy glow like that
)
Try this first and take painkillers to dull the pain. Let me know how it goes
