mine weighs 1671 at the moment, its really efficient, but has noticable kick :( Think Im gonna get a new ram + bolt pin to cut about 200 grains off

The bolt has the largest effect on kick (being furthest from your hand, thus exerting the greatest leverage :D ) which is why people generally go for lighter delrin bolts and compensate with heavier hammers. If you still have the stock bolt, replace that first.

New Designs is now making a "stubby" bolt that must be very light. People who have it give rave reviews.

Just as an aside, I also like the ND Valve, which is much more efficient than the stock valve. It gave me an added 25 feet per second and allowed me to reduce my dwell a couple of beeps.

Presumably that's like the "Strange" bolt, which stops just behind the bolt pin... looks weird unless u have a Strange Impy cos when u look at the back it appears that u have lost ur bolt! :D

But yeah, light tho...

yep, you pretty much don't see the bolt with the stubby. If you don't like that (for whatever reason), Evil makes a plug for the back of the bolt chamber. It has their little "E" symbol on it so that you can look at that when shooting.:)
