2003 definately
you NEED vision or it will chop like a biatch, honestly

£239 for the 2003 which is a little high considering it doesnt include a hopper or freak kit. But it has some ups. for £239 or a bit more, theres usually an i-frame on it

£126 for the cheaper one... you could just buy a vision board and get someone to fit eyes for you...dunno how much that would cost but might be cheaper than buying the vivsion one?

have a look at this one as well http://67.19.5.132/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50821

So u think that i should get 2003 because it's a marker with vision board, right?
But i could buy a vision board to the impulse 2001 and that would work as the 2003, right?
A guy talked me about WAS Board, how is it?
Don't u have any idea how much that boards costs?
Thx a lot ;)

Out of the two, I'd go for the first one, although the trigger isn't any good (CP Roller) the feedneck is pretty whack (Evolve No-rise), and the barrel ain't great (Dye Ultra-lite)

I'd look into replacing them with the bits I've put in brackets, or take a look on US ebay for some great impulse deals!

An Ion is definatly NOT better then an impulse.

Well I could list the reasons but you started this so go for it and list the ways that the ion is better then the impulse........

Is it the plastic body and exclusion of a lpr that makes the ion so much better? ;)

an impulse doesnt have an LPR as standard, and weighs 10 times as much. i did used to own a well modded impulse which was nice, but i dont see it as being any better than the ion.

in reality, i wouldnt buy either impulse or ion for that sort of money, there are loads of better markers around for that kind of money at the moment

its very PBn to call ions plastic but nevermind ;);)

ok

- cheaper
- lighter
- smaller
- break beam eyes come stock (no vision to pay more for) and are better than reflective
- aftermarket support is about equal but diminishing for the pulse now...
- ramp capable out of the box
- probably faster
- you can change the asthetics cheaply and easily

i hear what everyone is saying about LPR's same goes for shockers too but to be honest if you set it up ok there isnt that much performance to be gained with one, and as a safety issue if you are that worried about the internals due to over pressurisation get an aftermarket reg, problem solved
