impulse problem

my friend has a problem with his impulse.. it's a vertical maxflow impulse w/ an ans jackhammer 2 lpr reg on it. it worked fine but then when we got to the field, the gun wont fire.

theres no vision on the gun
maxflow gauge is reading about 175

any suggestions?

i take it the battery's ok? has he ajusted the trigger since last time used? have done this myself ajusted too close & had it so micro-switch not releasing far enough, can he hear solonoid clicking?if not check trigger adjustment if thats ok

yeah this happened to me when i adjusted my trigg to short, thats probally your problem - easy to sort out with some small allen keys!!

nope he hasnt touched the trigger and the batteries are new

Paint on the board?
Have you checked the spring is ok?
Is the bolt in the right way?
Is the pin in?

Sounds simple but believe me we have all been there.

Turn the LPR up a few PSI, keep going untilit fires.

Mine sometimes works its way lose, or aover time the reg. settles a bit and the pressure to the solenoid drops stopping the gun from firing.

Well i'd just say bite the bullet, strip it down and check everyting is in the right place, the right way up etc.
