The maxflow reg works fine on Co2 and air. Though there is not pin in the maxflow - not the one I have anyway. So you'll have to use a Co2 with an ON/OFF valve and if you want to use air, get a vertical max-flow reg with a mounted air system.

Though every other maxflow in the world (except mine) seems to have a pin, (weird!). So you could use a screw in system. Just check before you buy.

Don't worry too much about Co2 liquid getting into your marker, as long as you have an anti-siphon in it its no trouble. The maxflow just lets off any excess Co2 that gets into it.

You could get a grip, im sure Smart Parts do one. Or you could get a vertical maxflow mounting thingy. Just turns your horizontal maxflow into a vertical one. Very neat, and cheaper than a vert maxflow (if they do them for shockers?)
