0.7kg or 700g?

Which sounds the greater??

You could try saying that it's 3/4 the weight of a bag of sugar heavier!

Sorry mate, 0.7, 700 or 3/4 it's still a LOT heavier than an Impy, and it still looks like a breezeblock even with Planets milling.

A shocker is almost as heavy as my cocker with the warp and it's big tank on;)

Depends on how big your muscles are! 0.7kg can be the last straw breaking the camel's back, or more to the point the difference that means your arms get a little shaky by the end of the day. And don't forget that as they are such gas hogs you need to carry a larger bottle which can make a difference.

Anyway, should have realised Philip would have all the facts & figures about every shocker on the market to hand!:D

Shockers aren't that bad on gas if you get the delrin front for the bolt that has more open face instead of that pathetically puny 6 hole stock front and use an efficient barrel. Lapcos, Custom Products, or DYE excel come to mind, with various other choices out there as well. But for heaven's sake, get a decent sized tank! 88/4500 isn't that heavy...stop the whining. Get a 114/4500 if you can.

both are nice

I purchased the nasty impulse and i love it. for the money though i would suggest the stock shocker over the stock impulse. both are nice but the shocker has the range of a tank. maybe thats because its as big as a tank. im not sure. anyways, the impulse is an awsome marker and very upgradeable. if you plan on staying stock go with the shocker. if you plan on upgrading go impulse. i have played with pretty much every upperend marker out there and owned most. the nasty impulse is the best buy out there today. if you can sport the 650 then get it. hope ive been of some help.

Now myself, i go for markers that wont need upgarding...ie shocker....now why is it the impulse has all these gadgets and stuff for stopping bolt stick ect....yet the shocker doesn't....the gear for the shocker is mostly for cosmetics..
