guys stop pissing and whining ..all will go back to normal after a couple of weeks when our beloved moderators get bored of policing the uninteresting parts of these boards..its going to happen so just hold out ;)

personally I think theres a thread (at least one) in the mods forum titled some thing in the region of "what we can to to wind up the proles" or "first one to get 100 complaints by pm gets there expenses okay'd "

hump de bump

I'm all for the strictness of enforcing the rules and all, they are your forums which means we should respect how you want things done, but the only rule I can't see any real benefit for is the "no bumping" policy, which I can only see leading to duplicate threads. Just imagine the results you'll get if you want to search for a particular gun and end up with 5 times as many as there are items for sale.

Instead of keeping everything in one place, you'll now have several of the *******s to keep track of, you might not be able to tell how long a seller has had something up for sale or how much interest there has been in it, and what if someone inadvertantly replies to an older thread? you'll now have two listings for the same bloody item on the same page.

PbNation have got a bucketload of users and their policy is to allow just one bump per day, which I think is a more suitable compromise. You can enforce that one how you like, because over there you do get people giving "free ups" to others, which might get annoying, but I'm sure a nice strict policy regarding bumps could be put in place.
