No, taking the piss is not learning from what you did wrong.

When I delete a thread for not sticking to the rules, I always do a so called soft delete. This means that the reason it was deleted is visible and I can even make the thread magically re-appear.
Only a very few people have bothered contacting me, asking what went wrong, and I have given them all an explanation as to why they're threads were axed. These people learned from it and got it right the second time round.
However, many people just go "f*ck, my thread got axe, so I must have done something wrong. Never mind, I'll just post the exact same thing again." Quelle surprise, the second thread gets the chop too. If you don't know what you did wrong, just ask...

Oh, and I don't see any reason to kill this thread. I did however move it to a more fitting part of the forum.

Buddha - you'll always be damned if you do, damned if you don't..

Personally, i think you should carry on with what you are doing - the more sensible people on here understand the score and will continue happily posting successfull threads within the rules to make everyones life better - the more, well, you know, lapsed individuals will continue to moan and wonder what happened to their threads... god im polite :)

Let the good times roll!

I think it needed a shake up, classifieds are just that (maybe a section for just general exchange of views may be needed)
All these people saying items were to dear and other wise cracks was not needed.Lets hope for a clearer forum

Well i think most people presume these post just get dumped into room101 no chance of return. I just cant be bothered to re-write my post, i recon most people are the same. BUT (and i dont mean to be picky) WHY was mine deleted, and this one hasn't been?????

It took ages to write out, thats all... what do you mean by 'the date'? cheers.
'the date' = the date of the thread creation (and, therefore, the first post). It is dated 19th June - the day before 'J'-day.
