Just to let you know mate there are a couple of teams in the area, one actually in the Rhondda and a couple more just outside, ie Ogwr, Cardiff, and Neath.
If your looking for an area in the Rhondda try the old Archery club in Llwynypia, good woodland and a large flat area for sup'air good facilities are already piped in (gas, elec & water) and there's plenty of parking there, not sure who owns it though.
I think your idea is great, a sup'air field on our doorstep can't fault you
There used to be four outdoor sites and one indoor site in S. Wales, they all closed and now there's only one just outside Cowbridge so another would be great especially if you intend putting a sup'air arena in there.
Like I said earlier contact me and we'll have a chat and I'll introduce you to all the teams we tend to meet up about every couple of weeks for pint, or two.
