Never (unless damaged) just make sure it is clean just like the webber carb. air filters you can reuse after cleaning...clean with paraffin or something like that. DO make sure it is all dry before you replace and not reeking of the cleaning product (heat if using air inside can cause fire)
As for the solenoids still clicking ??? well until you try with an gas source you never know....starter motors on cars click with the solenoid noise but don't work...so try and see also two solenoids are they both clicking?...

BTW means READ THE F***KING MANUAL
All the procedures are in there to decide which and what solenoid is functioning and when it should....if you need the manual email me cos you can't get it from Smart Parts anymore (on their website that is ..not since the update)(some are about but I have all of them)
