I have an ICD Promaster.
Used it twice so far, and I love it.
I'm not gonna do a pro's and con's list cos they're crap, instead I'll just write about it! It's nice to look at, all aluminium. The board can do full-auto uncapped. In reality you're looking at 12 - 15bps. I had to file down the feedneck of my halo to fit snug - I recommend a clamping feedneck as the stock is a bit of a bitch. Yes, it doesn't come with an ASA, it comes with what I've been told is called a Donkey, which is just a solid block of aluminium.
I've added an old slimline Eclipse OOP S which I nicked off Dave B (although he got a brand new one in silver as a replacement
), and I've added a black Delrin spike boltpin. The boltpin is much lighter, but speed-wise I've not noticed a difference as I haven't played with it since receiving the pin. Howver, it is quieter as the alu boltpin slams into the frame each shot and that's noisy.
The spike is SHARP, and that's a bitch when you're field-stripping the bolt. I suggest taking a file to the very tip and round it off, but besides that it's worth the £6 odd I paid off ebay.
I've also pimped it up slightly by replacing the stock green LED indicator (which is pale and looks really limp) with a superbright orange LED, which makes the marker look much nicer. Also, the screws for the power switch should have been black, and again it makes it look nicer.
Parts are hard to come by in the UK, but ebay has a fair share of reputable sellers selling ICD parts from the states. Pair of laser eyes - $10 and 5 minutes with a soldering iron.
I recommend it if you're skint, it's a good marker. I haven't played with an SLG so I don't know what proto guns are like.
Oh yeah, the stock trigger is nice if you know how to play with it - in 10 minutes I had mine set so sweet that I dar not touch it ever again
