Bird: You must have more than a half assed police force then. The local police station closes(yes, closes) at 6.30pm so the closest after that is about 12 miles, 10 minute journey so everything has finished, and everyone has gone before they even arrive. And this is the merseyside/wirral area.

We've had trouble in our street since somes fags moved in 3 doors down. They have set the alotments on fire, set fireworks off all throught the night, hit my neighbour on the head with a ball hammer(he's still in hospital 1 week later) then set his vulcans on fire(show birds) and they have been let go each time. I called 999 a ciuple of nights ago when they were smashing a car up and it took the police 40 minutes to respond, by which time the car was already burning itself out.

The police around here could be a little better

Sun morning @ 4am I hear a car horn beeping, I'm like WTF so I get out of bed and have a look out my window, I can see a guy in one of the cars in the carpark, I say car it was a 12 year old Lada! anyway I can see lots of movement in there and the horn keeps beeping.
I go round to the kitchen window to get a better look and decide to ring the police. The guy see's me gets out the car and walks off, about 5 mins later a police van turns up with a dog, the policeman ask's me which way the guy went, the dog has a bit of a sniff and off they go.
5 mins later another police car drives up the road then 10 mins after that they come back to my house asked if they guy had a quilt with him?!?! They got him!!
Was impressed!
