What did you expect from a siamese? Wendi is part siamese, and she's... what's the brit term.... Whingy? yes, Whingy.

What most people don't realise is that cats have them trained very well. :)

Oriental cats (e.g. Siamese & Burmese) are renowned for being the most intellegent, most vocal & most demanding breeds. Burmese are the only breed I know that will play "fetch" - but only if they feel like it!:D

Thanks for this Liz . This afternoon I have sucessfully (of sorts) taught our siamese to play fetch with a paperball.(well he sorts of brings it back to me, normally via a scenic route:confused: )
HE's now very bored and swinging from the net curtains. I dod try entertaining him with a mini radio control car, but the little bugger got fed up with that and bit its attenna off.:( :( :( :(

Try giving him a rustling plastic bag like a supermarket one to keep him busy. My brother's cats love to chew them & make a noise just when you're trying to listen to quiet dialogue on the TV. Or try to read a book, that's their cue to clamber all over your lap & stick their cute little claws up your nose

As I said before, oriental cats are very intellegent & really need a partner to wrestle so they can try to bite each other's heads off. They are also absolutely adorable & very evil - my brother named his after soap opera bitches!

Yes, I'm one of those very rare people who is both a cat person AND a dog person.

Ahh, then that expains Wendi. She's PART Siamese. And I think she got the VOCAL bits, and not the intelligence. Wendi is the same cat that set hersef on fire. Twice. And both times didn't notice. But she's just the cutest black cat you've ever seen tho.

Just noisy...

I aint kidding!

my 5 rabbits live in a purpose-built warren in my garden and i have to cut my back lawn on my hands & knees with shears cos its full of frogs from my pond & i can't face chopping them up with the mower! I also adopted a ferret that was the runt of the litter & was set to be drowned...had to re-home it tho as it took a liking to the bunnies...i used to have 21!
