How to train your eye?

I teach a bit of clay pigeon shooting. If a R handed shooter is left eye dominant, the above is true. The shot will fall to the left of the target so aim off is to the right.
As with clays, paintball should be played with both eyes open, to keep an overview of your surroundings. Use the fall of shot to adjust your aim until it becomes instincvtive.

Some tips

To train your weak-eye to focus faster try these methods.
The main reason you cannot use your weak-eye is that it takes longer to focus.
(along with many other factors)


Training 101

In time this excercise will help your eye focus faster and even train your eye muscles to grow. (nice eh?)

AClose your dominant eye/ put your hand over it.
Pick a spot in your room that is closest to you, and pick a spot to focus on.

BAfter about 1 min. Open both your eyes and try to either focus on something further away.

Repeat A , B for 3 more times.

Training 102

Repeat the step A as above.
Then keep your dominant eye closed then focus on a spot furthest away.

Repeat this 3 times.

In time it this excercise will train your weak eye to be stronger and focus faster.

This excercise is also given out to people with nearsightedness.

If you have astigmatism..consult your physician before hand!!!
