i did a little experimentation with some of this stuff today and so far im pritty impressed......i decided rather than use it on goggles for my first go id tart up a spare halo shell.
first attempt i sprayed it on a little to heavily at first but i left it outside to dry to see how it came out, just my luck it rained while it was still wet and made a mess of it. being rubber based it was fairly easy to remove it again tho, it peeled off quite easily!
2nd attempt, i roughed the shell up a little with a pan scrubber and its now had 4 thin coats......it still drying so i dont want to touch it yet but im quite happy with the colour, what was once a red sparkle shell is now white.
a couple of scraps ive tested it on as well have a nice rubber coating to them and bend well......i tried it on a bit of card and a tea towel, doesnt appear to crack when bent so far.
ill be interetsted to see how the rubber coating behaves when shot.....ill take it to work tuesday and stick it in the range, with a bit of luck it will leave a nice wipe clean surface that cleans up easily when shot
