how would you effectively cover the porting so that the inside didn't get painted??? as if that happened you could create an abrasive surface and either get the supposed flatline barrel effect, or just burst balls

Might be better to put something in the porting like cutoff matchsticks? Or you could just poke it out afterwards?
I was gonna try some of the stuff on one of my mates old barrels, but i dont have enough as i put so many coats on my i3's, you can also get green, red, blue, black and yellow.
Let me know how i goes i have a few odd barrels for my mag i want to do.i'm gonna have a go on my old cp barrel set
well i'm gonna try it on a barrel back first, then i don't have to worry about the porting etc etc
Liquid mask is like masking tape, it will cover the areas you don't want painting/covering and can be removed later, it's just more flexible tan straight edged tape.
To cover the porting you could push strips of blutak from the inside of the barrel, through the porting so the dimples protrude and stop and of the painty stuff getting inside. It will not mark the surface and can easily be applied, removed simple.
