Diablo - well this will kill you guys....
Right, someone suggested/recommended i bought a Diablo Marker
(yes, i aint spoken to that fool for a while lol)
and then I saw the name on the box of paint i bought on the way home from work and it said "Diablo" on it - thats it! (cue tumbleweed......) i wasnt on any forums at that time and thought it would be cool.... how i can get things wrong....
yeah, nick names "Oppy" and in hindsight wished i had used that (can i change it please mods?)
so im stuck with the name of, what in my eyes has been pants paint (unless you spend mucho dosh) and a particularly pants gat!! lol bugger...

Eastie - correct - it was about 6 months ago. I guess this is one topic that will never die (a bit like the 'why isn't paintball on tv?' or 'is paintball a sport?' etc).
ive used the name Jahlad for quite a while now, maybe upto 10 years ish. origonally i used the name on a MUD (a text based multi player online game) for my second character. i still also use the name Vaul a lot on online games which was my main character at the time and a name i used for longer than i remember.
Jahlad was taken from a star trek next gen episode called 'Darmok' and was the name of a warrior who met with his enemy Darmok on a remote planet and was forced to unite with him to defeat a common foe.
Vaul my other online id is taken from the Warhammer 40000 universe created by games workshop and is the name of the Eldar weaponsmith god who tricked a chaos demon and then later killed it with his greatest creation a sword he named 'Anaris' the dawnlight. I have also been known to use the name Anaris on occation.

the game i origonally used the name for i played for easily 5 years for at least 5 or 6 hours a day on average!!! 24 hour+ sessions most weekends. jahlad was a werewolf and vaul a mage. these days jahlad is a jedi on star wars galaxies and vaul is a warrior on wow! but im happy to say i dont play half as much as i did!no idea on the translation tho!
i thought you might have got the name by, well the lad part due to being a lad/man/boy/gentleman, then the "jah" bit, thought it was short for jahmen kell off command and conquer generals, and also it does sound like an izbekistan name, so hence the name jahlad, god im weird
