Careful Skeet... so much useful information, but you can't help selling stuff, can you? Here's my rule of thumb: if a post is addressed to one person, it could be a private message. If it os of general use to anyone, it is a valid post. That's why I go around deleting "hey you should buy my framboazle bolt" type posts.

I still agree it would be preferable to support Brit companies. It's a struggle enough anyway without being outsold by the US all the time. With the playing Public's help we will be able to drive down prices over here and make life much easier for customer support and product availability. If not, then I fear things may get worse over here :(

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

my point is that unless i can find a reloader for such a good price over here, il end up buying 2nd hand, which is not supporting the companies anyway, or i just wont bother. In paintball you need to find the cheapest you can get it for because it is such an expensive sport.

Paintballers do make me laugh......... the sports to expensive I need it cheaper blah blah blah.

Have you guys ever gone to and event and paid £95 a case because it was sight paint only and because it was the biggest event in the UK at the time? At a guess I would say not many of you.
And now you moan about paint prices equipment prices, buying in the USA is cheaper so help me get round the import taxes etc, not like any supplier in the UK has to pay them is it?

We're just thinking long term mate. No one blames you for wanting to save money, I too had to spend hundreds and hundreds on a single days play for my first tournaments, and as Pipes says, used to pay 4 or 5 times as much for paint as now, but things have got to here because we used to do that.

Like you point out though, it is a bit of a catch 22, a vicious cycle. Do what you have to do to play, we all do, but also think of where you want the UK / European industry to be in 10 years; it's YOU who will decide it.

Peace

If players supported there local stores or any store in the same country then things would become cheaper.

How do you think is slow low today, go back 5 years and it was far more. More sites opened there fore paint became cheaper as more was being made. Simple really.

I am not digging you out personally just anyone that looks fo rthe short route, support your local field/ store and things will get cheaper.
