If you don't see the point in following a group... then don't, simple as.
The thread was asking why there 'is' a large following, and it's because we respect them for the way they live their paintball life.

It was a question, asking the people who put HK in their sig why they choose HK over any other team?
I understand why someone would have something about dynasty in their sig, as they have won alot of high profile events.
But apart from marketing their name very successfully, I cant see what HK have done that other teams havent.
Sorry i thought you were stating that we don't respect the other teams.
It's not so much what HK have done in terms of winning, it's the way they've gone about their paintball careers. They have created something that anybody can be a part of, not based on talent but dedication.
Of course you're going to have the people who see a 'cool' person with a HK symbol and want to follow, but too most it means something more.
The HK train pretty much every night, not on perfectly cut playing fields but where ever's available, i respect their dedication and style so i support them.
Yes most football supporters follow a team but usually they choose one that has some relevence. Either based on geographical proximity, or sporting achievement.
Supporting HK is like supporting Jurmala, surely you would only support them if you lived in or came from Latvia?
If Russian Legion hadn't won anything, but yet still trained 5 days a week, including fitness, countless drills. Dedicating their whole life to paintball, as a job etc
Would they not be supported by non-russians? Because they're from Russia?
Hell no, they'd have supporters and respect from all those that are impressed with their dedication and commitment and style.
Although they're not English or represent us, doesn't mean that we can't feel the need to show our respects to them and the way they play.
