Just like to say well done to Reign of fire.

Hadnt a clue who you were before the Pro Tour but you played some really good ball.

You also looked very dapper in your DYE gear!!!...the only thing missing was the DYE Matrix which would have completed the look!!!

Might be worth your while contacting DYE about some Marker sponsorship ;)

This was my first major event and i must say its the most fun i've ever had playing paintball. The marshalls were spot on all weekend didn't have a call wrong as far as i saw it. The weather tried its best to ruin the sunday but again credit to the poor marshalls who we saw out in the rain rebuilding the fields, anyone who went home early really missed out.

Thanks to everyone who made this possible and Basic will see you all at Campaign.

Thanks also to everyone who stayed on to watch the finals and supported us! For a team that has only been together six months we did really well, and it was amazing to see and hear the crowd recognising this.

Thanks also to Redz for a great semi finals game, a perfect example of how to play paintball!

In my opinion this was one of the best tournies ive been to in recent years and it was a credit to everyone involved!

ok the organisation of the site + facilities, camping, bar, marshalling was all spot on, along with the prizes and the trophies were awsome (damn you redz :D i'll be coming by to rob one of you of a trophy).

All the marshalling was also perfect and i don't think we had a bad call at all - and especially well played to marshalling sunday you did brilliantly ;).

Bornmouthe sports centre - pure class, excellent facilities, oladies and mens changing rooms with showers toilets etc, good camping grounds, good cheap bar (because its a sport centre), near perfect (and obviously fairly new) astroturf, no cut up knees or nothing I just feel for the poor *******s cleaning it.

However, the organisation of the setup was completely sh1t, we got told the fields would be ready to walk friday lunchtime but they weren't and not only that the netting was being set up instead!!! Think about it we don't have to walk the netting wouldn't it have made more sense to do the fields, not to mension the fact you only need to do half the field in reality as it's symetrical. Also what about those sh1tty sand bags, why not just fill the bunkers with water like first year, I said to which i got "It takes to long to get the water out" - how many days are you cleaning up after the tourny that they could be drying out in, sorry thats just lazy.
Sorry this is in no way a pop at anyone or any of the setup crew you did great and im glad i didnt have to do it (been there with M25, setup is a nightmare) but a bit of common sense with setting up fields first and using the tried and tested method of filling bunkers with water to stop them going everywhere. I know this is a bit of a rant but i paid top dollar and got the time off work on friday to walk the fields on friday - they had been setting up since wednesday and only half the netting and one field is set up and not even measured out yet!

Other than that tho I did have a cracking time and WILL be back next year without a doubt.

Im sure syd will agree that criticism is welcomed but being part of the setting up crew i just want to say we worked our a**'s off 2 get the event up and ready on time. With regards to filling up the bunkers with water not only is it time consuming to empty, but the water lines within the grounds are mainly run from a source that contains sewage and filling them up with this was just not practical and as far as im aware we were not permitted to use the mains line, this would be the reason for the sand bags. The bunkers were also a problem too, roughly 2 out of the 4 fields had bungs and Scutty had to drive all the way to guildford to pick some up this delaying the set up further. The netting however was mainly complete except for one stretch of the pro tour field so to say it was half complete would be wrong. Hope this sorts out a few queries??

I just want to say a big thanks to the Bournemouth Riptide guys that helped out on the friday and also a big thanks to everyone else who chipped in too; you were a big help.

Big up to the marshalls on field 1 also it was a pleasure to work with you all and it has been the best event ive marshalled by far.

Big shout to dicky for guesting for us, fitting right in and playing some sweet ball.

Thanks to the marshals for a top job and a big thanks for the teams we played.

Thanks to the people who put the time and effort to run this event.

Things that could be improved im sure have been noted so im not gonna bitch as they were tiny.

Also thanks to the guys at Dye,the C5 gear and DM5's are amazing seeing as we only got em fri eve fresh out the box.

One last thing, well done to my team mates Andy,Rich,Goffy,Wizz and Paul (shame you couldn't make it Craig). Awesome weekend guys, lets keep it up.

my only thing about the sand bags are they caused my injury which now see me out of paintball probably for the rest of the year, as when i was sliding in to the blocks on field 3 my foor got trapped by a bag and pulled my knee thus tearing a ligament .
